We would like to give a warm welcome to our new teacher Traci Cogdill. Her extensive education, experience, and connection with the children make her a great addition to the preschool.
Traci Cogdill hails from Florida where she earned her B.A. from Flagler College and later her M.Ed from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to moving to Washington, she taught 1st and 4th grade inclusion classes (a mixture of regular and special education). She has also tutored 3rd -10th grade special education students in math reading and test prep. Traci has had the opportunity to work with a variety of students including English language learners from China, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Mexico. She has also worked with various types of special needs students including ADHD, specific learning disabled and mild autism. In her spare time, Traci likes to swim, read, and spend time at the park with her dog.
